Connecting to Source
Mixed media on Canvas (30″ x 40″)
This piece is a reminder to connect to ourselves, to others, and to nature around us. I was inspired by a deep desire to express the need for us, as humans, to be kind, and to understand the true power of love and how it can connect us to everything around us, including ourselves.
*I utilized Japanese rice paper as well as molding paste for texture and added faux stones to create a whimsical effect.

EXILE
Acrylic on Canvas – 36″ x 36″
She sat, hopeful to return one day. Her home seemed so far away, so far away from her dreams, so far away from what she wanted to achieve. So different from who she was.
She knew she loved her land, Her people, her culture, But the flame inside her burnt too hot. So hot it couldn’t be contained and they wanted to put it out. Her home couldn’t provide what she needed, what she yearned, what is was rightfully hers.
She needed to be free. Free to explore, free to love, free to think for herself, free to have control over her own worth. She knew she had to leave, leave her history, leave those who didn’t understand. Her heart ached every time she remembered the land that saw her grow, but she knew she had to blossom and teach others to glow.
To all the immigrants and the people who are away from home. I see you. Keep your fire glowing.

Golden Gorgon
Acrylic on Canvas – 16″ x 20″
She’s breaking free. She’s breaking the mold and changing her own reality. She’s unapologetic about loving who she is. She’s gone through so much, she’s been cursed, she’s been hated, yet, she breaks free. She’s found the strength within herself to see that not everything that looks at her turns to stone. She’s finding her happiness

Goddess
Acrylic on Canvas – 16″ x 20″
“Goddess” is a celebration of feminine and masculine balance and harmony. It’s an invitation to reach in and let your own power shine and flow into the universe. Self-realization is a path that many don’t take. It takes courage, discipline, and will. It’s so easy to just follow what’s already there. I invite you to stop following, and instead, take a step back and look within yourself. Let your own energy shine so bright and you’ll see it will light up your path. Find the goddess within you.

My Body
Acrylic on canvas – 9″ x 12″
Often times throughout my life I’ve questioned the amount of control I have over my own body. As a female, I can tell you with certainty that it’s not much.
Our WHOLE lives we are told things that, not only limit our freedom of expression, but are also damaging to our self-esteem and overall right to be equal.
It’s my body, fuck off.

Fractal
Acrylic on Canvas – 11″ x 14″
I started this piece with a heavy heart. Aching as I listened to the world news. Feeling heavy in my soul to know that so many millions of innocent people are suffering because of nonsensical violence. War makes no sense… it feels as if the world is fractured and in pieces. However, I reminded myself that we can all help raise the good vibrations of this planet together. There can be hope and light after darkness. We can plant love, color and harmony even in the ugliest of times. I’m a firm believer that art heals ✨. Making, looking at art, enjoying art in any form can make our world a better place. But sometimes we need a little more (and that’s ok).
*The artist’s proceeds from the sale of this piece will be donated to a war relief charity/organization.

Reflections of the Full Moon
Acrylic on Canvas – 18″ x 24″
She looked at the full moon closing her eyes, she let go Forgetting for a moment who she was And in that moment she realized We are all vibrations, energy, thoughts. She realized that our thoughts can create, Destroy and build, All in one, At the same time And that our essence holds the power. The power to transform, The power to evolve, The power to love, To be kind, With our thoughts, With our words, With our actions.

Rebirth
Acrylic on Canvas – 18″ x 24″
There’s a peculiar feeling I’ve had ever since I became aware in my own healing journey. A feeling of gratitude towards the universe, nature, and my own self, and sometimes it’s almost as if I was born again. And as I was “born” into this, what I call my new reality, I had to relearn how to think, how to love, and how to feel (and I’m still learning). Because before my awareness, I didn’t know I had choices. I didn’t know that we, our human bodies, belong to nature, belong to adventure, belong to love. I didn’t realize that self-love is imperative to growth and that without it, we lay stagnant in our ignorance. I’ve struggled with maintaining my mental health at a “healthy” level. It is an uphill journey, I’m still climbing, and that me, the one I’m learning to love, is pushing me to the top. Take care of yourself and your mental state. Become aware of your emotions and how they affect your body and your loved ones. Awareness and self-love. Those are my two cents.

Higher Self
Acrylic on Canvas – 18″ x 24″
This piece comes from a deep state of meditation and mind exploration. Sometimes my higher self likes to express emotions or messages through my art. In a sense, this is a self portrait of my inner most energy.
I started this piece with no plan. Just paint, brush, and canvas. Meditation can take you to places you’ve never dreamed of… places where you can meet your higher self, your spiritual guides, your own energy.

Just a Dream
Oil pastels – 13″ x 25″
In the process of working on my self, I’ve realized many times that I need to allow myself to let go of perfectionist each time I work on a project. I need to remind myself that “not perfect” can in fact be “perfect” in the eyes of others.
I don’t have to be “perfect” to be loved.

Glow
Acrylic on Canvas – 20″ x 10″
This piece comes from a place of love and gratitude. Let your colors shine, glow, and grow 🌳 🌈.
Being true to yourself can be very hard for many of us. Especially when we have to face our traumas and deepest fears. Let your colors glow. Let your voice be heard. Let your fears run. Baby steps.
I’m proud of myself for not letting the fear based part of me define me. I proud for letting go of that creeping feeling. I invite you to do something, no matter how little, to make yourself proud.

Breaking the Loop
Acrylic on Canvas – 18″ x 24″
In a way, we’re all broken but we are the all, and the all is within us. Eternal circle of life Of death Of rebirth A circle of infinite wholeness Broken wholeness Within.

Eternal Queen
Hand-painted vintage mannequin torso with sculpting features using recycled materials and foam clay
I've always been fascinated by Egyptian mythology and culture, but even more by the idea of a woman in power and in a position to influence such a vast empire.
Eternal Queen is an ode to women. This piece is a reminder of the regal energy that lives eternally within our souls.
Let love and kindness guide your way and nurture your full potential.
Keep your head up high, queen. *This piece is made of a recycled vintage mannequin, hand-painted with acrylics and sculpting elements using recycled materials and foam clay for texture.

Human
Mixed media on canvas – 32″ x 40″
Remember You don't have a soul You have a body You ARE a soul You're more than A mortal vessel. You’re infinite You’re powerful You’re Eternal. You are here to experience A human life. to learn, To cultivate, To enjoy all that Being human entitles. You’re here to feel To live in the moment, You’re here to cry, To be angry, To forgive, To learn, To understand, To love.
Because Love is the force That glues the universe Together. You come from love, You are love, You glue the universe together One human experience At a time.

AWAKEN
Hand-painted mannequin head
Because humans are not meant to be just “one way”. We are complex, powerful light beings who shine in many colors. We’re here to explore, not to do things by the book.
Keep the light shining through, manifest your dreams into reality, and take control.
Love for all! ✨🏳️🌈 🧬 🌎 💫
* This was a vintage mannequin head, hand-painted with acrylics and gold paint.

Blossoming
Hand-painted mannequin bottom
This piece was inspired by the courage of women around the world that face and confront the challenges associated with being a woman in a predominantly patriarchal culture while maintaining and embracing feelings of self-worth, love, and resilience within.
Women are more than just reproduction machines, and with this piece, I’d like to show that, besides ovaries, and despite the stigmas and the challenges that can break us in pieces, we can put ourselves together and show that there’s a whole other world of beauty, light, and hope within us, and it’s time for that side of us to blossom.
*This piece was detailed and hand-painted with acrylic paint and acrylic markers for fine lines.

Inner Peace
Acrylic on Canvas 8″ x 10″
When we look for love and peace outside ourselves, oftentimes time we can get lost. Finding peace within is a gift waiting for you to explore. Go within and find your inner peace.

Transition # 1
Acrylic on Canvas – 8″ x 10″
Going from darkness to light and finding your way can be challenging. It comes with obstacles and even sometimes we get in the way of ourselves. Go on, don't stop, always search for your light and your happy.

Transition # 2
Acrylic on canvas – 8″ x 10″
That moment when you realize that you’ve left the darkness behind and overflowed your space with light and beauty. The darkness is still there, but it is behind. Don’t look back. Look forward and enjoy the flowers.

Still Me
Acrylic on canvas – 8″ x 10″
The moments of darkness still belong to you. The challenge is not to let them take over and instead, let them teach you about yourself. The moments of light and happiness still belong to you even if you’re in darkness. The challenge is to let them illuminate your way by living in the moment with gratitude.
No matter what side you see as your own, it is still you and your essence is resilient, strong, and beautiful.

FAREWELL
Acrylic on canvas – 16″ x 20″
(all images and shapes in this painting are purely coincidental)
Just as the clouds can form shapes in the sky; shapes and images that can make us smile. A random unicorn-shape fluff, or the face of someone we miss. Shapes and images that get dispersed and vanish in the wind.
And as they come, they go. They're just there for a little while allowing you to smile and enjoy that moment.
And as I learn to enjoy the little things in life, enjoying the NOW is the most difficult.
Because we come, we go, we grow, and we disperse, in the blink of an eye, it seems.
Dealing with loss is difficult for most of us. But saying farewell to the parts of us that no longer serve us is imperative to healing. I invite you to recognize what it is that you should say good-bye to. Observe it, and remember that sometimes negative experiences (or even toxic traits) can also teach us to recognize what we don't prefer. Say farewell to that part that doesn't align with you anymore and make room for all the good things that are coming. What images and shapes do you see?

Storm Within
Mixed Media on canvas – 36″ x 24″
Even when healing, darkness can creep in. Even in daylight, the clouds can cover the sun. Conflicting duality can cause a storm, but the broken pieces still form a whole. *For this piece I used recycled tissue paper for texture, clay and paper maché to form sculpting elements and other texture. Each line and crevice were hand-painted to add a more texturized effect.

The Two Sides of Me. AKA “Duella”
I created The “Duella” using a vintage 1970s mannequin bust and fabricated the arm using wood, wire, EVA foam, and foam clay.
The Wing was made out of the inner wire ribs of an old umbrella, secured to the body with 3 different bolts, and shaped with foam clay and feathers made out of tin soda cans shaped and detailed with carving tools.
I also made the chain around her neck by cutting small pieces of pipe insulation and linking them together using wire and adhesive to create movement.
I spent countless hours working on the line details, which for most this might be a tedious task, but I find it generously therapeutic to do this like work.
This piece represents healing, strength (to break the chains that tie us to our dark side), and above all, balance. Any kind of sexual assault and domestic violence leaves darkness within us, and survivors thrive when we find the balance and the courage to let our light shine ✨
Special thanks to SafeAlliance for choosing this piece to be the center art of their Breakfast of Hope held in October 2023.

Breaking the Mold
Hand-painted vintage mannequin with sculpting features using recycled materials
As I worked on this piece I reflected on the importance of self-love. I thought of my own darkness and power of the light within. It started with a recycled vintage mannequin torso transformed using mostly materials around my studio. I wanted to make a statement of resilience. I wanted to express my inner darkness and the light within. The darkness that NEVER leaves and the light that hasn’t yet been extinguished. ✨Presenting “Breaking the Mold” I hope that when you look at her you can understand that she was abused, assaulted, and cursed. I hope you can see that even when she is at her darkest, the cold stone that imprisoned her wasn’t strong enough to hold the power of the light within. ✨I hope that you can see that she is breaking the mold and allowing herself to shine.✨

Mythosaur
8″ x 10″ 3D sculptural piece using EVA foam and foam clay on canvas.
Fun little piece using foam clay and EVA foam with lots of details and texture. Inspired by the fascinating creature featured in “The Mandalorian”- If you know, you know.

Home
36″ x 36″ Acrylic on canvas
We take for granted many things in our lives and finding that place where you feel at ease, at peace, in total bliss is special. That place doesn't have to be a physical location. It could be simply being in the company of someone you love, or realizing that whatever is in front of you makes you happy, and most importantly, finding that place within yourself. So no matter where "home" is, you can carry it in your heart and feel at peace with every breath.
